How to Reserve a Company Name
While it’s not actually possible to ‘reserve’ a company name in the UK, we offer a service that involves registering a trading name of your choice to ‘reserve’ it for when you are ready to trade in the future. This means that the company name will be listed on the Companies House register, preventing other business owners from using the same or similar company name.
We will maintain the company on your behalf until you are ready, including filing dormant company accounts and the confirmation statement.
How It Works:

- Once payment is made, we will send you an email with an application form attached – simply send us the completed form back via email and we will process it and submit it to Companies House to reserve your company name
- The company will be formed within 24 hours, although most formations are completed on the same day
- Until you are ready to trade, our experts will maintain the company for you
Important: Our reserve a company name service is annually renewable should you wish us to continue filing the dormant accounts and Confirmation Statement. Only available to companies that will be registered in England and Wales.
